Steve Honn is a School Safety Coordinator with the Forsyth County School system in Forsyth County, GA. In this role, Mr. Honn manages six Student Advocacy Specialists. Mr. Honn also supervises in a liaison role all communication and coordination with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Forsyth County Fire Department.

Mr. Honn is a big believer in the proactive approach of working with and coordinating resources for students (K-12) in crisis. Students in crisis are determined as the ability, thoughts, and actions to harm themselves or others.

Mr. Honn has a Business Degree from Baker College in Flint, Michigan. He worked in the corporate business world as a District Manager for Campbell Soup prior to joining the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Honn worked as a School Resource Officer, Uniform Patrol, and Crisis Negotiator. Since 2013, he worked as a School Safety Manager and Coordinator for Forsyth County Board of Education.
